Meet the Force: Bremerton

Meet the Force.  BREMERTON

Bremerton has produced some fantastic talent over the years and the Olympic Force is has benefited from that fact.  This year is no different.  Here are the current roster members that share their home with the Olympic Force and Olympic Sports Center.

Matt Olson, will play in his 4th season with the Force this winter.  Matt went to Bremerton HS before taking his talents to Saint Martins University.  He plays midfield and defense for the indoor team and is expecting to be a father in the upcoming spring.

Leo Potts will, like Matt Olson, play his 4th season with the Force WISL team.  Potts grew up in South Seattle and played his High School ball for soccer powerhouse Mt. Rainier HS in Des Moines before joining the Navy where he played for the Naval Soccer Armed Forces Team before coming to Bremerton.  Potts has featured the last two years in our Army vs Navy game on Force Foundation Day as well as playing an integral part of past Force successes.

Born in Guam, Michael Bryant is our next Bremerton Resident on the Roster.  Michael has been playing for years at Olympic Sports Center and last year, decided that he would learn to play Goal Keeper at higher level.  In just his second season he is easily the most improved player on the WISL Roster in that time frame and continues to improve with every day on the field.

Finally, we have a newbie but a returner as well.  How is that possible?  Simple, Steven Prevost, who calls Renton his home town but now also resides in Bremerton played for the Olympic Force EPLWA Men's team in their very first year of existence.  It's been a while but Steve is back, only this time he is with the WISL Indoor Team.  Prevost attended and played at both North Kitsap HS and Peninsula College.
